When Crocker Home Painting partnered with Cleveland Computer Guy, the goal wasn’t a flashy redesign—it was a thoughtful rebuild focused on long-term performance. Their site had a solid base, but it needed better structure, stronger SEO, and a plan to reach more homeowners in the areas they serve.
What we delivered was a more strategic version of their website: optimized, streamlined, and ready to grow.
Research First, Design Second
Every project we take on starts with keyword research and competition analysis, and Crocker’s site was no different. Before touching content or layout, we identified the best keywords to target. We also studied how their competitors were handling SEO.
This gave us a clear, data-backed plan. It focused on real search terms—without keyword stuffing or wasted effort.
A New Front Page and Cornerstone Services
Once the research was complete, we got to work on the homepage redesign. We focused on clarity, strong calls to action, and simplified navigation—everything needed to help users find what they need quickly, whether they’re on desktop or mobile.
From there, we created new cornerstone service pages, each one focused around a core keyword. These weren’t just informational—they were written with SEO structure in mind, featuring:
- Optimized H1-H3 headings
- Keyword-rich but natural language
- Clean, direct service descriptions
- Internal links and clear calls to action
Image Optimization That Supports Performance
Crocker already had a solid visual presence, but we focused on optimizing the images that matter most. All the new images used on the front page and cornerstone service pages were fully resized for faster loading and embedded with proper SEO metadata, including:
- File name
- Alt text
- Title and description
- Relevant captions
We’re continuing this same optimization approach with all new blog images moving forward. The goal is to keep site speed high, improve image search visibility, and support overall SEO performance—without overhauling every asset unnecessarily.
Expanding and Updating City Pages
Crocker already had an impressive collection of city service pages, but we found some gaps. We filled in missing areas that matched their real service radius and refreshed existing pages to align with current keywords and user intent.
Each city page was updated with improved structure, better formatting, and localized keywords to improve their chance of showing up in “near me” and city-specific searches.

Blog Built for Semantics, Not Stuffing
Finally, we launched a semantic-focused blog to help Crocker grow keyword relevance in a natural, sustainable way. The blog lets us cover wider topics—like seasonal trends, paint finishes, and home improvement tips—without forcing keywords where they don’t belong.
It also gives Google more content to crawl, building relevance around both broad and niche terms that can lead homeowners to the site.
Built Right, Built for the Long Haul
The work we did for CrockerPainters.com wasn’t just about appearances—it was about building a smarter site that runs better, reaches further, and supports long-term growth. With a clean backend, structured content, and a growing content system in place, the site is already gaining traction—and it’s set up to keep doing so for the long haul.
